What is the difference between a perfume and a fragrance?

Fragrances and perfumes are closely related, but they have important distinctions in perfumery.

Fragrance is a general term that refers to any scent or aroma. This can include perfumes, colognes, body sprays, and other scented products.

A perfume, on the other hand, is a specific type of fragrance that is made by combining aromatic compounds with a solvent, typically alcohol or water. The concentration of these compounds and the quality of the ingredients used determine the strength and longevity of the perfume.

So, while a perfume is a type of fragrance, not all fragrances are necessarily perfumes.

What is the fragrance production and delivery time?

Our production process typically takes about four weeks, depending on the complexity of the fragrance composition. For domestic orders within Switzerland, delivery usually takes about two days. For international orders, delivery times may vary depending on factors such as the type of shipment, destination country, and customs clearance procedures. Typically, international deliveries take a few days up to a few weeks.

We are happy to handle international shipments for our clients, but the choice of shipping method and associated costs are our clients’ responsibility. We are always available to assist you in selecting the best shipping method for your needs and answering any questions you may have.
